Quality Assurance Program

Regis & Associates, PC's quality assurance program includes two major components - firm level quality assurance, and engagement level quality assurance. Our firm-level quality assurance program includes both an annual inspection program, as well as our participation in the AICPA's tri-annual peer review process. We have received four consecutive unqualified opinions on our system of internal quality controls as part of this peer review process. Our internal inspection program uses partners/managers not involved in any aspect of the selected engagement, to review all engagement files and reports rendered, review the quality assurance control procedures performed, interview the engagement staff, and conclude on the quality of work performed.

Our engagement level quality assurance plan requires that all work products have evidential review by a supervisor or manager, with a fairness review completed by a manager or partner. The fairness reviewer must be independent of the actual work performed.
